She was in it not knowing, 

That he was everything, 

She didn’t know she wanted, 

He was in it knowing,

That she was all he wanted, 

But the fools that they were,

They let that difference tear them,

They tried to run ahead of time,

Making decisions, fortune never wished upon them,

Because they were the same side of a coin, 

Trying too hard to look at the other side.
