Of Greatness

Staring into the abyss,
She saw the depth that ran down,
Smell of the sweet incense,
Frosting the room,
As if filling up that deep hole,
The metal plates clanged,
The drums beat,
The cry of love,
Loud and clear,
Through all the white,
She saw the blue,
Her feet moved,
Her hands rose to the air,
She was swimming in the sweetness of his breath,
His knowledge flowing through,
Life made no sense,
But at the same time, it also did.

Day after day,
She let him through,
Floating away from the chasm,
Life made sense,
until it did not anymore.

Oh! Being of greatness,
Come back unto me, she cried,
She was always yearning,
But that day the yearning genuine,
Nothing of material,
She only wanted to see everything turn blue,
She prayed for tears,
Tears that would cause immense pleasure,
Inexplainable.
And she waited there,
waiting for him and her to be one again.
